The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
